We have countless emails every day, comments via our posts, and also on Plurk itself – so to save you the effort of asking a question, and having to wait for us to respond, we have collected the most frequently asked questions and we will outline them below.

Plurk Layouts FAQ

“How do I download free plurk layouts?”

Below every free plurk layout preview – the preview of the layout, there is a bright pink button saying “download” – click this button and your browser will install the layout you have chosen.

If by any chance your browser will not allow this, check for pop-up protection, and if this still doesn’t work, try another browser or contact us via email and we will provide another way to install your chosen layout.

How do I buy an exclusive plurk layout?

Payment is received via PayPal – below the preview of an exclusive layout is a PayPal button, when you click on it, you will be redirected to PayPal where you can purchase the layout. Once purchased you will be emailed an installation link with information. If you have any problems, please do contact us. We will get back to you ASAP.

“Why are 10% of your layouts exclusive?“

We are like everybody else. We have costs to cover for the running of this website.

  • Hosting of the website.
  • Bandwidth for the website and all layouts.
  • The computers.
  • Photoshop and other programs.
  • Our time.
  • Website maintenance.

The above is just the beginning of a long list… and so obviously exclusive layouts go towards helping us cover these costs.

Can I get this exclusive layout for free?

Sorry, but for the reasons stated above, all exclusive layouts will remain exclusive and only be available after purchase.

“How do I request a personalized layout?”

All “personalized layouts” are “bespoke layouts” as we call them – you can request a bespoke plurk layout and we will create a completely custom, personalized layout – just for you.

“I’ve sent you a plurk layout suggestion, when will it be ready?”

All suggestions are thus – suggestions. We try our best to supply everyone with a layout of their own taste, but we receive hundreds of suggestions per week so we can’t promise anything, if you want a promise see our bespoke plurk layout page.

“I sent you an email, but I have not received a reply”

If you have sent us an email and have yet to receive a reply – hold tight. We will reply within 24 hours.

We do read all emails, and we even check our junk box incase we miss something. If an email requires a reply, we will reply within 24 hours. However if an email doesn’t require a reply, we can’t promise we will reply – see our example below.

Example: If you’ve sent in a suggestion email for a layout, we will read it, but most likely won’t reply – it’ll be read, and added to our list, but not always replied to. :)

How do I contact you?

How do I make my own plurk layout?

You need an average, to moderate – or advanced understanding of CSS and graphic design which means knowing your way around a design program like Adobe Photoshop. We don’t provide lessons for either, but if you go to Google, and search for CSS tutorials and graphic design tutorials you’ll find an extreme amount of information.
