The Bell Sisters
Hi, I’m Olivia Bell, one of the creators and designers of Plurk Layouts – along with a number of other websites which I have built with my two sisters and budding business partners. When I started using the Internet I had no idea how a website was even put together. Since those few early days, I have spent hours on the computer, expanding my knowledge and my understanding of code, design and everything else I needed to learn. I’ve learned how to put a website together, how to code it, design it, market it…. pretty much anything I needed to know to make my own websites successful. I’m more of a front end developer – I love coding and creating a user friendly website – I love what I do really. If I find time to do some design, that’s even better. Rosanna and Sasha do more design, where as I do… everything else! My goal is to make everything simple and really enjoyable. I use Facebook, Twitter, Plurk and www.escaped-emotions.com. |
Hey, I’m Rosanna Bell, one of the three sisters… but also one of the creators and designers of Plurk Layouts, along with the other websites we 3 have created together. I mainly work on designing things, I love to spend hours and hours in Photoshop experimenting and inspiring myself. When I first started designing I had no idea whatsoever, I had absolutely no knowledge and literally just learnt how to design by spending hours in Photoshop experimenting lots…! I never went on any courses, I simply kept at it, and eventually got better! My goal is to get better and better – everyday I learn something new and I will continue to do so. If I’m not moving forward, I’m going backwards! Designing is my passion and it has been for years. I love the challenge of designing things which are more tricky than what I’ve been doing… I love what I do, but most of all… I’m up for any challenge! Hi, I’m Sasha Bell, one of the three sisters, three creators of Plurk Layouts – I’m primarily a designer as it is what I love to do the most. I spend hours designing new pieces, researching ideas, getting inspiration etc. Designing is my passion, I can spend hours, sometimes even 1-2 days working on one design alone. I’m constantly getting idea after idea and most of the time all I want to do is design, design, design. Not only that, but I’m incredibly picky! Perfection is my middle name. I work well with Olivia and Rosanna – we “feed” off of each other – we share our thoughts, ask for help, inspiration etc. If one of us gets stuck, there is always someone there to lend a helping hand and I’d hate to have anything different. Although my main interest is in design, I’m continuously working on improving my code skills – I adore CSS, but look forward doing more serious coding. Who knows where it will take me… but right now, I’m very passionate about what I do and can’t wait for whatever next project comes my way.
