Olivia Bell – May ‘07
Hi, I’m Olivia, one of the owners of Plurk Layouts. I suppose if you’re reading this then you want to know a little about me…
I hope I can write this page well enough so that I can answer all you’d like to know and be able to tell you about what sort of person I am.
So; my name is Olivia, I’m seventeen and I live in England, Dorset. I love England and especially Dorset; I adore the country and my home, along with my family who I am very close to.
I own Plurk Layouts with my sister, Rosanna. I have another sister, Sasha and we all get on extremely well. Although they are technically my sisters I feel they are more friends; if not two of my best friends. We do a lot of things together, help each other and overall enjoy each other… I’m very lucky to have two wonderful sisters like them.

I also love and adore my parents; I’m extremely blessed to have them both. I know there is not anybody else in the entire world I would rather call my parents. They have brought me up and taught me so much in life and I know what they’ve done for me and given me is gold dust.
Rosanna and I own Plurk Layouts, but we originally started two websites previous to this one. LTY Designs was what got us into the Web, Graphics, Web Design and Photoshop… LTY Designs was followed by LTY Tutorials and then Plurk Layouts. I (along with Rosanna) have enjoyed expanding my knowledge and understanding of design, the web and most of all, how to put a website together. My favourite side of a website is the back door to a website. I just love working on websites and with Rosanna.
Because of LTY Designs and the websites which followed I spend rather a lot of time on the computer; I never really intended to do anything like this but now my goal is to create helpful, useful websites and establish myself in life so I’m able to do other things.

I want to do many things in life, but my first goal is to be able to support myself; I never want to have to rely on someone for financial support… I want to be in control of what I earn and that right now is my biggest goal. Every challenge I’m given I take on – I may get scared at times and doubtful, but it’s always something I won’t let hold me down. Something I quote myself often is: “Love every challenge in life”.
Other than spending a decent amount of time on the computer I do many other things, my passions are never ending and I’m always trying to pack lots and lots into one day…
I spend a lot of time working with horses. My parents have about 10 horses and I spend a lot of time working with them, bringing them on and taking them to a higher level. All of the work we do is to create horses that go better than most do and horses which are safe for anyone to handle (so many aren’t) and who can give you the most wonderful ride – it’s just chalk and cheese.
I love riding, hunting and working with horses. The wonderful uplifting feeling I have when I’m one with the horse is something very magical and there isn’t anything like it that triggers the same feeling. Although admittedly I love many other things, but there is something about riding that I do love in a very special way.

Most of my days contain website stuff, not only updating but striving to move each website into the next stage; take it to the next level etc… but beforehand I spend a huge amount of time with horses.
And when I’m not working with the horses I’m doing a number of other things; before I really got into anything computer related my original goal was to focus on my singing as an eventual goal, career.
I love singing and music a lot; I spend hours and hours singing to songs; striving to sing higher notes and improve my voice; as I write this my latest success was reaching the whopping Top C.
Similar to riding it gives me a wonderful feeling, when I sing I don’t think, I only focus on the words and it’s a terribly wonderful way of escaping ones thoughts and expressing a songs emotion… I’m passionate about music as I am about many other things.. it’s hard to know which I’m most passionate about.

Olivia Bell – Summer ‘07
I started writing after the death of my Grandmother, I was so overwhelmed with emotion I had to find a way of releasing my emotions and also my thoughts; I began to write and slowly I realised how much I loved writing, the feeling I get after finishing something is wonderful. Almost like everything I felt before I wrote it suddenly left me, almost peaceful.
Since then I’ve been writing, I think it’s 3 or 4 years and whenever I feel overwhelmed I turn to writing – I’ve also worked hard to improve my writing and along with that I created a website, a portfolio of my writing. Escaped Emotions
The other thing I was hoping to include with my singing career was dancing; inspired by people like Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears. I’ve been dancing for 6 or so years and I just adore dancing – the feeling of loosing myself in the music and preforming in front of a big audience is just incredible, you feel so alive and like you can do anything…

Shooting; another thing I throughly enjoy. It’s somewhat different to the other things I do but it gives me such pleasure, especially becaue it’s once again outside – like horses but so much easier. Instead of having to work with a horse (which can, at times be frustrating) all you have to do is work with a gun and your mind.

Olivia Bell – May 2008
I started shooting when I was 13 and everytime I shoot (may it be game or clay’s) I love it. I don’t think I could ever get bored and hopefully I will be able to take it more seriously in a few years – but I’m not sure yet!
Something I have recently thrilled upon is photography… if you’ve visited LTY Tutorials or LTY Designs you may have come across my photography. My father had a camera or two and a few lenses around, so gradually I picked them up and had a play.
Rosanna and Sasha have spent a huge amount of time in front of the camera for me, so I can learn and improve my photography. It’s something we’ve done a lot of over the summer and it’s just another passion I hope to improve and which I hope will hold a strong place in the future.
If you haven’t seen the galleries on LTY Tutorials or LTY Designs, you may want to check out my DeviantART. I upload all of my photographs there, so it’s the perfect place to check it out.
In a nutshell; I’m rather driven. I have millions of goals and I love life, so much. I love what I do, even if it is hard, I do love it. I wake up every morning and look forward to the things I want to accomplish.
I’m a very happy person; that’s not to say I won’t have down times, but I am happy and I do love myself and life… I’m close to my family as I’ve said and my friends.
I work hard and I’m focused on everything I’m doing all the time… but there’s a side to me that is relaxed and bubbly. I laugh almost as much as I talk (which is a lot). I love being on my own, thinking, spending time on my own is a wonderful way to relax and write especially. I spend a lot of time reading, watching movies, day dreaming or spending time with my parents, sisters and my friends.

I could go on and on… but basically in a few words I am; self-confident, bubbly, happy, hard working, committed, helpful, polite, aware of others, ambitious, determined, able to focus, silly, trusting and loving.
I hope I have somewhat explained who I am and what I love, to you.
Thank you for reading
